The INTAGE Group was founded in 1960 as a specialized market research organization. Since those early days, we have expanded around market research as our core business domain to include system solutions and healthcare information services, and grown into a unique corporate group. INTAGE has consistently led the industry by responding quickly to various changes in the business environment. We have now secured our position as the No. 1 market research firm in Japan and the No. 10 worldwide, according to research by the American Marketing Association in 2010. The history of our company is the history of the Japanese market research industry.
Thanks to the support of our stakeholders, INTAGE celebrated its 50th anniversary in March 2010.
Strengthening the Management Structure
From April 1, 2011, INTAGE will strive to strengthen our management structure and improve group value and governance, including active development overseas, for development toward the next 50 years.
From April we will also start our 10th medium-term business plan which focuses on “creating new consumer-initiated intelligence” toward the new stage of our business (“Next 50”).
While this initiative is being launched under very harsh economic conditions, the entire INTAGE Group will work diligently together to implement the plan.
Whatever the conditions, INTAGE will uphold our vision of helping clients achieve business success, enriching the lives of end consumers, and contributing to the sustainable development of global society.
