This is achieved by analyzing INTAGE’s SRI+^® (Nationwide Retail Store Panel Survey) category-specific data and the long-term temperature forecast data shared by the Japan Weather Association.

(1) Providing available information readily and inexpensively

This service has approximately 260 categories of demand forecast models built based on POS data we own. Therefore, you can start receiving information in about a week of applying. The initial costs for analysis are minimized by refined specifications, and with that we can offer this service at an affordable price.

(2) Quantitative market scale forecast based on large-volume samples

Based on INTAGE’s SRI®, which has the largest sample size in Japan (based on our survey), we analyzed the relationship between meteorological phenomena and market scale data by category over the last decade since April 2010 and developed a forecast formula. Using a large-volume sample accumulated over a long period of time, we can quantitatively forecast market changes in each category with high accuracy.

(3) Forecasting market scale up to 15 weeks (approx. 3 months) ahead

The service offers weekly demand forecasts by category up to 15 weeks (approx. 3 months) ahead. The forecasts are not only useful for sales and marketing activities, they can also contribute in a wide array of other business activities, including future production plans, inventory adjustment, and delivery planning.
