Service Outline
POS-is is an integrated analytical platform that supports the use of data in a variety of business situations by automatically collecting, processing and formatting different types of POS data. In addition to POS data, a variety of other data, including market data, product and store master data, and actual data on shipments and deliveries, can be combined for analysis.
POS-is also supports linkage to various BI and SFA (sales force automation) tools, facilitating the usage of data for sales department transformation in a variety of settings such as negotiations with distribution channels, verifying the ROI of sales promotions, and optimizing supply and demand.

Characteristics of POS-is
Enables integrated analysis with a variety of data
Integrated analysis can be performed not only with POS data, but also with a variety of other data. For example, by combining market data with POS data, analysis required for negotiations with distribution channels is greatly facilitated.
In addition, POS data can be combined with data on shipping, deliveries, and sales promotion results to help visualize distribution inventories and verify the effectiveness of sales promotion campaigns, and thereby derive insights that can lead to operational improvements.

A full range of business support services
POS-is offers a wide range of business support services. For example, using BI tools to create templates for analysis will help standardize operations and raise the quality of your sales proposals. In addition, analysis functions can be added to the SFA tools used by sales staff, allowing data analysis to be incorporated into on-site work processes.

No need for data handover
Because the processing infrastructure is built into the client’s platform, there is no need to provide data externally. POS data and various transaction records that are too sensitive to disclose to third parties, for example, can be managed in a secure environment accessible only by the client.
